Excuses, excuses....

I have about a million and one silly excuses why I have not posted since October.  I am not going to bore you with them all, but I must say I have been very busy with daylight slave job.  Soo busy in fact that I won a special Best of the Best award, which I received at a gala event in Lake Louise a few weeks ago.  It was a beautiful event and I made myself a fancy new outfit for the occasion.

You may have also noticed that I did a little blog renovation, I thought I would get fancy with a new banner (surprisingly edited entirely on my very user friendly iPhone) and a new colour scheme!

 

 

What else has Miss World been up to the last 5 months???  Well, I have been a very busy girl keeping myself sane by crafting up a storm!  I have quite a few projects to post, so this post I am going to give you a peek at the mini monsters I have been working on and a shot of a few new resin pieces.

Some resin pieces, all set to make into earrings and hairclips and hat décor and magnets.....

 

 I also have a new love, hat making! Ever since I decided to make the gala mini hat.  I am making fascinators at the moment on buckram hat frames.  I hand stitch each piece, and I just love putting the little flourishes on top!

Sassy Boyfriend and I also took a trip to Los Angeles and Disneyland in December.  Even though they had record low temperatures while we were there, I was able to come home feeling very inspired and rejuvenated.

I have quite a few more projects to update for you wonderful readers, but I will be saving those for another post.  I did not want to go overboard this evening.  Stay tuned for sewing updates and perhaps a tutorial within the next week.
